John Sullivan – Senior Fellow

John is the co-director and co-writer of the hit film 2016: Obama’s Obama featuring Dinesh D’Souza. The film is the fourth highest documentary all-time grossing $33.5mm at the box office. In conjunction with his creative roles on the film, he also managed the marketing and distribution of the film. In 2008, John produced the feature documentary Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed, featuring Ben Stein. Expelled holds the 20th largest theatrical box office record for a documentary in history.

He started his entertainment career in the concert business and has been involved in the marketing and production of over 200 concerts, festivals and large-scale events. He also served as a producer, editor and writer for more than 100 commercials and corporate video communications.

John is currently working on the development of new documentaries with Dinesh D’Souza and also several feature films on American Presidents.

John graduated from Jessup University and attended San Francisco State’s school of Digital Media. He completed his graduate coursework at Regent College in Vancouver, BC. John lives in Los Angeles with his wife and two daughters.
