American Hero Charlie Kirk Assassinated

Dear Friends of the American Freedom Alliance,

Charlie Kirk, the 31-year-old founder and leader of TPUSA, a true American Hero, was assassinated today. He was doing what he does – did – best: engaging with students at a TPUSA event at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah when an assassin’s bullet killed him.

Today is a pivotal day in our nation’s history. Political hatred to the point of murder has percolated to the fore, and this bullet, unlike those aimed at President Trump last year, found its mark and took out one of the most loving, God-fearing, pro-America, pro-freedom, heroic titans of our time.

And that we are at war is also impossible to ignore. The Left’s consistent drumbeat of hate, of misrepresentation, of fomenting violence against us, even as they crow about tolerance and exhort to coexist, is pervasive and this assassination is an obvious consequence of the war footing that they have been on.

Charlie is a casualty of that war.

The perversion of truth, the inversion of good and evil, are indisputable and in full evidence in this act today.

We don’t know yet the consequences of this assassination, but it seems clear that it is a galvanizing event. There is no returning to a naive ignorance of the extent of the Left’s hate – there is no sloughing off of their loathing and commitment to violence.

The loss for the nation is unfathomable. And our hearts go out to his family whose loss is even more so.
