Connie Elliott: Xi’s Social and Cultural Destabilization

Connie Elliott, an expert on all things related to totalitarianism and a member of the Committee on the Present Danger: China, delivered a talk detailing various strategies used by the CCP to destabilize not just the culture but our minds.  Sound farfetched?  

Connie lays out the case, including “neuro-cognitive warfare,” for how the mind is a primary battleground in “unrestricted warfare” waged by totalitarian regimes such as the Chinese Communist Party.  She walks us through an extraordinarily complicated issue in a methodical way, causing us to view how we ourselves are influenced – or not – by a wide range of tactics designed to subdue us and bring us into line with the totalitarian party line.
